AML Builds Gardners Transformers
Avon Magnetics Limited is pleased to reveal that it has acquired the design and manufacturing data for the range of transformers and wound components previously manufactured by Gardners Transformers of Christchurch. The specifications and drawings covers the vast majority of products made by Gardners, stemming back some 60 years.

This will be of particular interest to the Ministry of Defence and their equipment manufacturers.

As a result of the acquisition we are able to re-engineer Gardners products using current materials, saving complete redesigns and associated obsolescence costs.

Enquiries for these products can be made either via the website or by contacting us directly.

Flying High
Avon Magnetics has further strengthened its engineering and manufacturing resource by upgrading its computer system and has recruited four new members of staff in primary roles to support the growth of the business.

The investment in the new software and the staff appointments allows us to meet the increase in demand for reverse-engineering designs following the demise of competitors and re-engineering through obsolescence whilst maintaining the levels of service customers expect from a company that “takes your business seriously”.

In addition we are pleased to announce that our ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System has recently been re-certified for a further 3 years following a certificate renewal audit by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.

To download a copy of our new certificate please visit the Services/Quality page.
